SCHEDULE

GROUPS

Participants will be split into two working groups – Over 2000 and Under 2000. Players between 1900 and 2000 can choose the group they want to be in. They can also try both training groups and see which one suits them better.

During the camp every student will have a 50 minutes one on one session with one of the trainers chosen at random. These lessons will take place between 9-11 in the morning and 2-3 in the afternoon. The student should provide 3-5 recent games at least 1 week in advance (otherwise the lecturers cannot prepare well)

There is no rating restriction for participating in the camp, but we will also not be teaching the very basics. Please be advised that the lower level will be taught at around 1600.
The camp will mainly consist of work in groups, based on rating.

When we get closer to the starting date, we will split the participants in working groups.

Each group will have an assigned coach. This will be your main coach, who will work with you for most of the sessions.

However, coaches will rotate between groups and you will have a chance to work with all 3 coaches.

GM Jacob Aagaard will be assigned to the highest rating group.

As a novelty from last year’s edition, this year you will have the opportunity of having small 1-on-1 sessions with one of our trainers to get your games analysed, ask questions and receive personalised advice.

Our promise is that the camp will be designed to benefit grandmasters and club players alike.

Full training days

18 – 22.05.2026

Each full training day of the camp will have 3 training sessions. Schedule would look more or less like this, although small changes in timings might occur:

Session 1: 11 AM – 1 PM
Session 2: 3 PM – 4:30 or 4:45 PM
Session 3: 5 PM – 7 PM

We will have evening activities, that will include blitz sessions, group dinner and simul. From previous experience, though, we know that the extra activity will mean daily evening blitz sessions…
All these activities are extra and completely optional. You can join them if you want, but if you are feeling too tired after a day’s training, it is completely fine if you prefer to skip them and have some rest.

Departure

23/24.05.2026

On the 23rd of May there will be a FIDE rated rapid/ blitz tournament. More info will follow soon. For those who do not want to take part in the tournament, this can be the departure day.
